Get Better At Home

Just Better Care’s Get Better at Home Program assists patients to leave hospital sooner and receive the extra care needed at home.

Planning services before leaving hospital means they are ready to start when discharged. These services can be as flexible as you need to support your recovery.

Services Available:

• Household duties: Help with managing every day tasks like cleaning, laundry and preparing meals 
• Transport to and from appointments
• Shopping and outings
• Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming and assistance with TED Stockings
• Continence care
• Overnight care

The Get Better At Home Program can also help with:

• Post Acute Care including nursing: administering medication, wound care, dressings and other services upon request
• Allied Health Support including physiotherapy services

Service 7 days a week 1 hour to 24 hours a day
